YOUR QUESTIONS / ANSWERED

Sri Lanka itinerary questions

A few practical details before you plan your journey.

Planning your route5 questions
How many days can I plan in Sri Lanka?

The planner supports trips from 3 to 21 days, including arrival and departure. A shorter trip works best with fewer stops; a longer holiday gives you more time for the Cultural Triangle, tea country, wildlife and the coast.

Can I choose the places in my Sri Lanka itinerary?

Yes. Select your interests and add the places you would love to visit. The planner uses those choices to suggest a route. Some places need a longer detour, so our local team will confirm what fits comfortably before you book.

Does the itinerary change with the travel season?

The suggested route takes your travel month into account, including south-coast and east-coast beach seasons. Weather and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed; our team checks current conditions and activity availability when refining your trip.

Is this itinerary suitable for families with children?

Enter the number of adults and children and choose a relaxed pace if you prefer more downtime. Tell our team your children’s ages, mobility needs and preferred activities so they can review drive times, hotel choices and any demanding hikes.

Can I change the itinerary after creating it?

Yes. Change your answers or add and remove places, then create a new itinerary. Our local team can also refine the suggested route, adjust overnight stops and help balance travel time with the experiences you want.

Costs & booking3 questions
Is the Sri Lanka itinerary planner free?

Yes. You can create a suggested route and preview the first three days free. For longer trips, provide your name, phone or WhatsApp number and country to save your plan and see the remaining days. Requesting a quote does not commit you to a booking.

Are hotels, tickets and transport booked by the planner?

No. Creating an itinerary is not a reservation. It is a suggested private-tour plan. Our team confirms hotel availability, transport, entrance tickets, activities and the exact inclusions in your personal quote before you book.

How much will my private Sri Lanka trip cost?

Your quote depends on your travel dates, route, group size, hotel style and chosen activities. Share your itinerary with Vacation Ceylon Tours for an itemised personal quote rather than relying on a fixed driver rate or an automatic price.

Sharing your plan & privacy2 questions
How do I send my itinerary to your team?

Once your complete plan is available, use the WhatsApp or free-quote option and provide your contact details. Your request is saved before WhatsApp opens with the itinerary prepared. Tap Send in WhatsApp to share the message with our team.

Why do you ask for my contact details?

We save your name, phone or WhatsApp number, country and itinerary so our team can help with your requested trip and quote. Email is optional. Contact details are not sent to website analytics; the privacy policy explains how enquiries are handled.
