Tailor-made
A honeymoon in Sri Lanka can mix sunrise climbs, misty tea country, a wildlife safari and several unhurried days by the sea. We plan the route privately around your dates and the right coast for the season, with your own vehicle and driver.
A honeymoon in Sri Lanka works best at a relaxed pace. Spend two or three nights in each place, and choose character hotels: forest lodges near Sigiriya, a hillside retreat in Kandy, a tea-estate bungalow in the highlands and a boutique beach hotel on the coast.
Highlights for couples include a sunrise climb of Pidurangala, a sunset at Galle Fort, an elephant safari and the scenic train through the tea country.
From roughly December to April, finish on the south coast. From about May to September, the east coast is the better beach choice. Tell us your wedding date and we'll suggest the best route for that month.
You travel in our own air-conditioned vehicle with one driver for the whole trip, so there is no sharing with strangers and no fixed schedule. Your driver collects you from the airport or your hotel, takes you between places, waits while you visit and helps with local advice along the way.
Before you travel, we agree the route and the hotels with you, and confirm what is included in writing. During the trip, small changes such as an extra stop, a slower morning or a different restaurant are easy to make.
Final inclusions are confirmed in writing with your quote.
