Adam's Peak (Sri Pada)
A night pilgrimage up thousands of steps to watch sunrise over the clouds from a sacred summit.
Tailor-made
For travellers who like to move, Sri Lanka offers a compact mix of hiking, rafting, rainforest trails and surf. We plan the route around your fitness and the season, with your own vehicle and driver between activities.
In the hill country, climb Adam's Peak for sunrise in season, hike Ella Rock and walk to World's End on Horton Plains. Raft the Kelani River at Kitulgala, explore Sinharaja rainforest with a tracker, and surf on the south coast at Weligama in season, or on the east coast around Arugam Bay.
We plan the order to match the seasons and give you rest days between the big efforts.
Activities are run by local operators, and conditions such as river levels and weather are checked on the day. We recommend travel insurance that covers the activities you plan.
You travel in our own air-conditioned vehicle with one driver for the whole trip, so there is no sharing with strangers and no fixed schedule. Your driver collects you from the airport or your hotel, takes you between places, waits while you visit and helps with local advice along the way.
Before you travel, we agree the route and the hotels with you, and confirm what is included in writing. During the trip, small changes such as an extra stop, a slower morning or a different restaurant are easy to make.
Final inclusions are confirmed in writing with your quote.
