Start at the Gangaramaya temple, an eclectic Buddhist complex near Beira Lake, and the nearby Seema Malaka meditation pavilion, designed by Geoffrey Bawa. Walk through Pettah's crowded bazaars and visit the red-and-white Jami Ul-Alfar mosque.
