Our ethical approach

  • No elephant rides, shows or bathing with captive elephants.
  • Safaris with licensed jeeps that keep a safe distance.
  • Support for conservation through the Elephant Transit Home.
  • Respectful behaviour: quiet, patient watching and no feeding.

Good to know

  • Park tickets and jeep hire are paid separately. See Sri Lanka entry fees.
  • The gathering depends on rainfall; elephants move between Minneriya and Kaudulla, and our drivers know where they are.
